We are seeking an experienced Medical Coder Specialist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately coding medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatments, ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and coding standards. The role involves supporting consultants, patients, and various departments across the organization by maintaining accurate and efficient medical coding processes.Responsibilities:· Review and accurately code medical records, procedures, diagnoses, and treatments.· Apply CCSD codes and ensure coding accuracy in line with industry standards and company requirements.· Work closely with consultants and clinical teams to clarify documentation and coding requirements.· Support administrative and operational teams with coding-related queries and reporting.· Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, coding guidelines, and internal policies.· Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient information.· Comply with all LIPS Access Control, Password, and IT Security policies, including the mandatory use of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for remote access.· Assist with audits and quality assurance activities related to medical coding.· Contribute to process improvements to enhance coding efficiency and accuracy.· Ensure clinical data integrity for medical coding within the unified EHR to mitigate clinical hazards and support the organisation's Clinical Risk Management standards.· Acknowledge that all coding activity within healthcare management systems is logged and personally attributable for security monitoring and compliance auditing purposes.Requirements· 2-4 years of experience as a Clinical Coder within a healthcare environment.· Strong knowledge and practical experience with CCSD coding (mandatory).· Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical procedures, and healthcare documentation.· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.· Strong communication and collaboration skills.· Ability to work effectively with consultants, patients, and cross-functional teams.Working Days: Monday to Friday ( Saturday & Sunday off ).Working Hours: 11:00AM to 7:00PMWork Location: Heliopolis, Cairo
