MRP Engineer (Material Requirements Planning Engineer)

Job Title: MRP Engineer (Material Requirements Planning Engineer)Location: Industrial zone - Giza – Egypt Job Type: Full-time Reports To: Factory ManagerCompany Overview: NESSTRA Egypt (A Certified Schneider Electric Type Tested Panel Builder) is a subsidiary of the NESSTRA Service (UK) Ltd, owned by The Hitti Group, Specializes in Low Voltage Switchgear Manufacturing with over 5000m2 factory area in Egypt.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and update production schedules based on project priorities and delivery deadlines. Coordinate production workflow across sheet metal, assembly, wiring, and testing stages. Monitor production progress and identify delays or bottlenecks. Run and manage MRP planning based on production schedules, demand, and project requirements. Analyze and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical panels to ensure accuracy and completeness. Calculate material requirements for electrical and mechanical components. Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder points. Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production stoppages. Identify shortages, excess stock, slow-moving, and obsolete materials. Coordinate with Engineering regarding design changes and BOM revisions. Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely purchasing and supplier deliveries. Follow up on long lead-time materials and proactively mitigate supply risks. Maintain accurate ERP master data, item codes, BOMs, and lead times. Analyze planning variance between actual vs planned. Improve planning processes and material flow efficiency. Support initiatives to reduce waste and improve inventory turnover. Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.- 3–7 years of experience in MRP, Material Planning, or Supply Chain within an electrical manufacturing environment.- Experience in LV/MV Electrical Panel Manufacturing.- Good knowledge of Schneider Electric products.- Strong ERP and Excel skills.- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
