MS D365 F&O Techno-Functional Consultant (Retail / Logistics)

Functional Responsibilities:·Lead the functional design,configuration, and implementation of D365FO modules related to Retail, Finance,Supply Chain, and e-Commerce operations.·Conduct business processanalysis and drive solution alignment with industry best practices.·Prepare and maintainfunctional documentation including process flows, FDDs, test scripts, andtraining materials.·Collaborate withstakeholders from finance, inventory, procurement, e-commerce, and logisticsteams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.·Support retail-specificworkflows such as pricing, promotions, POS integration, and order fulfillment.Technical Responsibilities:·Design, develop, andmaintain customizations, extensions, and integrations in D365FO using X++, COC, and Microsoft’s extension model.·Build and supportintegrations between D365FO and Shopify, including order sync, product data,inventory levels, customer information, and financial updates.·Use tools such as OData,Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and REST APIs to implement scalable andsecure integrations.·Perform data migrationsusing DIXF/DMF and manage environments, builds, and releases using LCS andAzure DevOps.·Develop and maintain SSRSreports and other reporting requirements for retail KPIs.Key Skills & Competencies:·Deep functional andtechnical knowledge of D365FO for Retail and Commerce.·Demonstrated experience inintegrating Shopify with D365FO (native APIs or middleware solutions).·Expertise in: 1. Finance & Project Accounting 2. Procurement & Sourcing 3. Inventory & Warehouse (WMS &Advanced WMS) 4. Retail operations (POS, pricing,promotions, loyalty) 5. E-commerce workflows (order to cash,fulfillment, returns) 6. Security, role management, andworkflows·Strong skills in X++,Extensions, COC, SSRS, SQL, REST APIs, and Azure Logic Apps.·Experience with end-to-endsolution delivery including testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.·Effective communication withthe ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.Requirements·Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Information Systems, or related field.· 3+ years of hands-onexperience in D365FO (Techno-Functional role), with at least 2 years in retailor e-commerce environments.·Experience in fulllifecycle ERP implementations including Shopify–D365FO integration.·Microsoft Certifications inDynamics 365 (Functional and/or Technical) preferred.·Familiarity with retailindustry compliance, operational flows, and digital sales channels.
