York Towers operates eight offices in five countries across three continents.We are looking for an experienced and proactive Odoo Developer to lead the implementation and customization of the Odoo CRM module for our internal operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the CRM deployment, from requirements gathering and development to integration, testing, and user training. This role requires strong technical expertise in the Odoo framework, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to align system functionality with business objectives. This is a Part-time, remote position focused exclusively on internal projects, with an emphasis on long-term collaboration and professional growth.Key Responsibilities:Maintain, develop, and enhance the functionality of the Odoo ERP system, including integrations and custom business processes.Design and implement new functionalities within the Odoo framework, including developing and optimizing custom modules, components, and reports.Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Odoo, ensuring the system remains up-to-date, secure, and aligned with business needs.Refactor existing codebase as needed, maintain comprehensive technical documentation, and create user manuals for internal teams.Collaborate with team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions within the Odoo platform.Integrate Odoo with external systems (e.g., third-party APIs, cloud-based platforms, ERP or accounting software).Participate in the planning and execution of ERP system implementation and upgrades.Provide ongoing support and improvements to ensure optimal system performance.Generate custom reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.Continuously propose and implement enhancements to the Odoo environment based on evolving business needs.Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Odoo CRM module, including business analysis, customization, deployment, testing, user training, and support.Serve as the main point of contact for CRM-related requirements, working closely with internal stakeholders to understand sales processes and configure the CRM accordingly.Ensure successful adoption of Odoo CRM across relevant departments by providing training, documentation, and user support.Requirements & Skill Set: ✅ Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with Odoo ERP, including customization and module development.✅ Strong proficiency in Python, with experience using the Odoo framework and ORM.✅ Familiarity with PostgreSQL for database management.✅ Experience in Odoo.sh and/or self-hosted environments.✅ Front-end skills including JavaScript, jQuery, and XML for view customization.✅ Experience with the integration of Odoo with external systems via APIs.✅ Understanding of Odoo workflows, business logic, and standard modules (Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, etc.).✅ Experience in developing and customizing modules, web applications, and maintaining technical documentation.✅ Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.Employment Terms:∙Part-time, remote employment; part-time or freelance arrangements are not considered.∙ The role focuses exclusively on the organization's internal projects.∙ Commitment to long-term collaboration and professional growth is required.
