As we expand our enterprise solutions portfolio, we are looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to lead the implementation of core business modules for our projects.Position OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Odoo Functional Consultant to design, configure, and deploy Odoo modules with a heavy focus on Accounting and Payroll, alongside basic Supply Chain (Inventory & Purchasing) modules.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local accounting standards, payroll regulations, and standard supply chain workflows. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and Odoo's standard functionality, ensuring a seamless, best-practice deployment. Key ResponsibilitiesModule Setup & Configuration: End-to-end functional setup of Odoo Accounting (Chart of Accounts, tax configurations, bank reconciliation, financial reporting) and Payroll (salary structures, rules, contracts, and local compliance).Supply Chain Integration: Configure basic Inventory, Purchasing, and Sales modules to ensure seamless data flow into the Accounting module.Requirement Gathering: Analyze business processes and map them efficiently to Odoo’s standard features, minimizing the need for unnecessary custom development.Data Migration: Oversee the clean migration of opening balances, vendor/customer masters, product catalogs, and historical payroll data.Testing & QA: Conduct thorough functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system accuracy and stability.Training & Support: Create user documentation and deliver hands-on training to end-users to ensure high adoption rates.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: 3+ years of proven experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant, with at least 2 full-lifecycle implementations covering Accounting and Payroll.Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of core financial accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), localized tax structures, and payroll processing mechanics.Odoo Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of Odoo Enterprise (v16, v17, or v18), specifically in Accounting, Payroll, Inventory, and Purchase modules.Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clean, out-of-the-box Odoo configurations.Communication: Excellent professional communication and client-facing skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with localized accounting and payroll requirements in Egypt or the wider MENA region.Odoo Functional Certification is a strong plus.Ability to coordinate with technical developers if custom API integrations or specific print-form customizations are required.
