Job Title: LEED Resident Engineer – Ras El Hekma ProjectLocation: Ras El Hekma, North Coast, Egypt (On-Site)Company: WAHDJEmployment Type: Full-TimeKey ResponsibilitiesOn-Site Implementation: Oversee and verify the implementation of sustainable construction practices on-site, ensuring alignment with the project's LEED BD+C/ LEED Homes certification goals .Documentation & Compliance: Manage the collection, organization, and submission of all required documentation for LEED credits. Ensure that the project team adheres to the LEED rating system requirements from design through construction.Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the specifications and standards required for LEED compliance .Coordination & Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for sustainability-related issues on-site. Coordinate with the design team, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues and maintain the integrity of the LEED strategy .Review of Submittals: Review shop drawings, material submittals, and change orders to ensure they meet LEED prerequisites and credit requirements .Reporting: Prepare and present technical reports on the project's sustainability performance to stakeholders, as well as the WAHDJ leadership team.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineering, or any Engineering Department related to Construction.Certification: Must hold a current LEED AP BD+C (Building Design + Construction) credential. (LEED Homes is a plus but LEED AP BD+C is mandatory).Experience: 0–2 years of experience post-graduation. Recent graduates with the LEED AP credential are highly encouraged to apply. (Having a LEED AP right out of university demonstrates significant initiative and a passion for green building).Knowledge: Strong understanding of the LEED v4 or v4.1 rating system, green building materials, and sustainable construction methodologies.Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
