As the business continues to grow, they are seeking a talented designer to help bring their product portfolio to life through thoughtful, production-ready packaging and branded product experiences.LocationFully remote | 9 AM - 5 PM ESTRole OverviewThe Product Designer will design functional, production-ready packaging that brings the brand to life and enhances the customer experience.This role is responsible for the design and execution of product labels, bottles, packaging, user guides, and other physical product materials, with a strong emphasis on brand consistency, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong visual design skills with packaging production expertise and can effectively collaborate across Product, Supply Chain, and Compliance teams to deliver high-quality product experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct & Brand DesignDesign and produce printed product materials, including user guides, inserts, instruction sheets, and other in-package collateralIncorporate product information, brand standards, photo editing, layout design, and copy formatting into finished materialsTranslate brand strategy and creative direction into cohesive and engaging physical product designsRedesign and refresh existing product designs to align with evolving brand standards and compliance requirementsDevelop and collaborate on creative bottle and packaging concepts suitable for mass productionCompliance & ProductionEnsure all designs meet print and production standardsUpdate packaging and printed materials to reflect regulatory requirements, including state-by-state revisionsPartner with Product and Compliance teams to ensure instructional materials meet regulatory, print, and production requirementsReview physical and digital proofs to ensure design accuracy, quality, and consistency before productionWork with internal teams and external vendors to ensure packaging designs meet manufacturing specifications and production requirementsCollaboration & Cross-Functional AlignmentExecute packaging designs for product launches and updates under the direction of the Product Manager and CEOInterpret feedback from Product leadership and execute revisions with precision and attention to detailIdentify opportunities to improve design workflows, documentation, and cross-functional collaborationCreate 3D renderings, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design intent and validate manufacturabilityOrganization & DocumentationMaintain organized file systems, version control processes, and documentation for design assetsSupport ongoing brand evolution while maintaining consistency across products and platformsEnsure final design files are properly prepared and ready for handoff to manufacturing partnersQualificationsExperienceBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience3+ years of experience in product, packaging, or brand designDemonstrated experience designing physical products and in-package printed materials, including labels, packaging, user guides, inserts, and instructional collateralStrong portfolio showcasing packaging, bottle, or physical product designProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and PhotoshopExperience preparing dielines, print-ready files, and production documentation for packaging manufacturingExperience designing for consumer packaged goods (CPG) preferredFamiliarity with bottle design and packaging for mass production preferredExperience working in regulated or compliance-driven product environments preferredSkillsAbility to translate creative direction and brand voice into finished product designsStrong visual storytelling and brand interpretation skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesExcellent documentation and file management practicesClear and thoughtful communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsIndependent problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvementStrong project management and prioritization skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyOpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-driven company that is transforming the pest control industry through innovative, plant-powered products.
