Job Description:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hospital Pharmacist to join our medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medication dispensing for both inpatient departments and outpatient clinics, with a strong focus on medical insurance approvals and inventory shortage management.Key Responsibilities:Outpatient & Insurance Operations:Dispense prescriptions for walk-in patients and contracted insurance companies.Handle online insurance portals (e.g., NextCare, GlobeMed, MedNet) to obtain medical approvals.Verify prescription compliance with insurance policies (co-payments, exclusions, and limits).Inpatient Services:Prepare and dispense medication orders for inpatient wards, ICUs, and operating rooms.Ensure accurate clinical review of dosages and potential drug interactions.Inventory & Shortage Management:Monitor and manage medication shortages (Out-of-Stock items) proactively.Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely replenishment of critical supplies.Suggest appropriate medical alternatives (substitutes) when primary medications are unavailable.Perform regular inventory audits and monitor expiry dates (FEFO/FIFO).
