Job DescriptionThe Planning Engineer (Consultancy – Site-Based) will be responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and controlling the project schedule on behalf of the consultant to ensure proper execution in accordance with the approved time plan, resources, and contractual requirements.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, review, and update the detailed project schedule using Primavera P6 in coordination with the contractor and project team.Monitor daily site progress and analyze variances between planned and actual performance from a consultancy perspective.Review and issue weekly and monthly progress reports, including time–cost correlation and schedule performance indicators.Coordinate with site engineers, contractor planning teams, and management to identify critical activities, delays, and potential risks.Review contractors’ recovery schedules and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with the approved baseline.Support decision-making by providing clear performance indicators, delay analysis, and mitigation strategies.Prepare and review dashboards, cash flow curves, forecasts, and progress reports.Ensure alignment between the approved time schedule, project resources, and financial flow.Report directly to the Senior Site Architect and Project Manager as part of the consultancy supervision team.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering.Minimum of experience 5–6 years planning and project control, preferably within consultancy or supervision roles.Excellent command of Primavera P6.Strong working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.Strong analytical and reporting skills with high attention to detail.Good understanding of construction sequencing, productivity analysis, and contractor schedule evaluation.
