Concord is a fast-growing organization with a vision to expand its operations across the Middle East and Africa.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Planning Manager role based in Giza. The Planning Manager will lead project planning and scheduling activities for large-scale civil and infrastructure projects, including the preparation, updating, and monitoring of detailed project schedules using appropriate planning software. The role involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to align timelines, resources, and milestones, and to identify and mitigate schedule risks. The Planning Manager will track progress, analyze variances, prepare recovery plans, and generate regular reports and dashboards for management and clients. Responsibilities also include contributing to tender planning, developing baseline programs, supporting cost and resource loading, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and client requirements.Qualifications Strong planning and scheduling expertise for civil/infrastructure projects, including baseline program development, progress tracking, and delay analysis.Proficiency with industry-standard planning and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel-based reporting tools).Solid understanding of construction methodologies related to water and sewage networks, micro-tunneling, roads, and large infrastructure works.Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing interfaces between engineering, procurement, and site execution, and supporting tender planning.Ability to prepare clear progress reports, forecasts, and dashboards for internal stakeholders and clients, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline; membership in a recognized engineering or project management body is an advantage.Previous experience in a planning role within large construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in Egypt or the wider Middle East region.Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to work on-site in Giza, and readiness to visit project sites as required.
