Supervision of Subordinates (Optional If Needed)Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of Power house activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant mannerPolicies, Systems, Processes, & Procedures:Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.Day- to-day Operations:Day- to-day OperationsSupervises the day-to-day operations and Maintenance activities of the Powerhouse to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and proceduresAssure safe and accurate operational practices of the Powerhouse (boilers, turbines, compressor …. etc.) in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to achieve work with high performance.Provide coaching and mentoring to Powerhouse employees in order to enhance individual and team performance.Review the section daily & monthly chemical consumption tracking, re-adjust the chemical dosing, and monitor the department chemical budget to be within budgeted limit.Securing the steam and electricity compressed air supply to the plant. To assure plant safe operation without interruption.Assure the laboratory QA/QC test samples are followed; valid and repeatable according to the approved SOP, for controlling and a adjusting the boiler water process parameters to be within the required operating limits.To ensure steady operation of the Powerhouse equipment and the regular preventive maintenance is carried for all scheduled equipment, the required safety, engineering, environmental and product quality assurance standards are respected and implemented.Ensure the Powerhouse consumption rate of fuel & chemicals are monitored and within normal consumption to avoid any consumption over budget.Reporting:Prepare reports timely and accurately to meet Savola and department requirements, policies, and standardsContinuous Improvement:Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.Health, Safety, & Environment:Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
