This position bridges the gap between software development and quality assurance, emphasizing both coding and comprehensive testing expertise. Conduct root cause analysis for defects, and continuously improve testing processes and efficiency.Duties & Responsibilities: Review requirements and design of system to be implementedDesign and review test cases and test scriptsAbility to define test case execution priority and impact analysisRecommend, implement, and work with test management, defect management, performance, and automation toolsLog issues and track until closureCommunicate with project manager regarding project issues, impacts to the schedule, and performance issuesAble to understand new testing techniques, technologies, and toolWork within an agile, self-organizing Scrum teamCoordinate with the engineers on Result and Defects Status on a regular basisprovide comprehensive test reports SDET: Writing unit test for testing API and business layerSDET: Enhancing Testability of the CodeSDET: Fixing Minor Defects Discovered During TestingSDET: Implementing Test Support FeaturesSDET: Documenting API endpoints or services to aid both testing and development effortsWork with the lead on creating test plan and executing itRequirements 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing Hands-on experience in OOP and one or more programming languages: C#, Java, JS, SQL Good experience with Selenium, TestNG, Junit, Nunit Hands-on experience with multiple types of testing including UI, System/Integration, API, Performance, and Agile Very Good knowledge in test planning and test strategy design Good knowledge in testing estimation techniques Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail Proficient in English (verbal and written) Good work ethics, Team player, positive and self-motivated Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills Database manipulation skills, mainly in SQL Good time-management skills Good knowledge of Agile development Methodology and agile testing Great attention to detail and organized Fair Knowledge about Cloud, ETL and DevOps Concepts Flexible and Adaptable to client and project changes Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow) SDET: Advanced programming Good understanding of custom exception, intermediate level in linq , dependency injection and lose coupling to increase testability.
