Join us and be part of something bigger: the future of electric mobility.About The RoleAs a Procurement Engineer, you will join our Supply Chain team to support the sourcing and procurement of direct materials (local and foreign) required for Shift EV’s manufacturing operations. Your role focuses on managing procurement activities, ensuring timely material availability, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and supporting cost-effective sourcing decisions.Procurement Operations And CoordinationYou will collaborate closely with Engineering, Planning, Quality, Finance, and Warehouse teams to ensure direct materials are sourced with the right specifications, quality, cost, and delivery timelines. Your responsibilities will include:Manage daily procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, RFQs, quotations, and purchase orders for direct materials.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with agreed requirements.Collaborate with Planning, Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure material readiness for production.Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier data, and purchase order information.Support tracking procurement KPIs, including cost, supplier performance, and delivery timelines.Supplier Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain effective relationships with local and foreign suppliers.Support supplier evaluation, market research, and identification of new sourcing opportunities.Assist in supplier negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and lead-time commitments.Cost Optimization And Process ImprovementSupport sourcing activities and supplier benchmarking to identify cost optimization opportunities.Analyze supplier offers and support decision-making based on cost, quality, and delivery requirements.Contribute to improving procurement processes and practices.You HaveBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.0–2 years of experience in local and/or foreign direct materials procurement, with a solid foundation in procurement and supply chain principles. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
