Within our plant, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. That means we’re continually seeking diligent, determined performers who think outside the box to help us find better and more efficient ways to manufacture our vehicles. You have to identify problems and come up with possible solutions. Then you must use critical thinking skills to evaluate your options and choose the best one. Also be able to assess your own and others' performances, as well as that of electrical products, components, and applications, and make improvements as needed. Promote and maintain a culture and attitude of continuous improvement, working within the Shift-EV team to make it more efficient, safer and an enjoyable place to work. You will collaborate with Product Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering to deliver high quality products/components to defined standards.You'll Have Ownership OverDevelop inspection methods to Inspect, test & analyse materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.Investigating, troubleshooting & resolving product or production issues and ensuring process improvement - developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.Perform quality assessments for processes and monitor all activities for measuring processes.Analyse data and monitor implementation of all Processes and Quality Control Strategy.Train various teams for quality procedures and ensure compliance to best practices.Document all developing material requirements and administer all hardware and software requirements.Ensure compliance to timeline and quality for various phases of the engineering process.Design statistical sampling process and review finished products and perform auditsDevelop operational initiatives and participate in various meetings.Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.Lead Containment activity on non-conforming material by determining appropriate suspect range to quarantine and provide disposition of material.Prepares product reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends.Establish and maintain Control Plans to assure critical features are controlled and monitored through the assembly/production processes.Develop and compile best practices for a specific manufacturing process and support implementation with other production linesAssist in the deployment, development and improvement of the Quality Management SystemYou HaveElectrical/mechanical/energy/renewable energy engineering degree with perfect understanding and experience in problem solving & troubleshooting with 3-5 years experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.Basic knowledge & background in automotive industryKnowledgeable with the safety precautions of the high voltage usageExcellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsAble to work efficiently in a team environmentBasic mathematical arithmetic skills
