Procurement & Insurance Senior Specialist

Main tasks:1. Insurance- Manages and coordinates insurance policies related to the company fleet2. Procurement :- Ensure the implementation of the global Procurement of NPM policies within Mercedes-Benz Egypt & It’s subsidiaries. “B63 & C174”- Develop Local guideline/process with a clear strategy when purchasing goods and services aligned with Egyptian Market standards & law starting from the supplier selection to the payment according to MB standards.Daily procurement:- Manage end-to-end procurement activities in line with company policies and business needs.- Work closely with internal stakeholders and project teams to ensure clear specifications and alignment, proactively addressing issues and concerns.- Lead RFQ processes, evaluate supplier proposals, and negotiate pricing, terms, and quality.- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; monitor performance across cost, quality, and delivery.- Identify and assess potential new suppliers to support business needs.- Resolve day-to-day procurement issues, including order discrepancies and invoice mismatches.- Monitor procurement timelines and implement improvements to address delays and bottlenecks.- Support process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.- Conduct financial analysis for tenders and prepare regular savings and performance reports.Daily support for SWT users:- Manage invoice logs.- Maintain supplier registration and data management.- Support procurement system users by resolving issues and coordinating with relevant teams.- Handle the creation and processing of departmental purchase requisitions.Internal Control/Quality/ISO:- Ensure compliance with defined internal controls process.- Support annual Internal and external auditQualifications: Educational Background- Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration or Engineering.Technical knowledge- Good understanding of purchasing principles.- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.- Experience with purchasing systems (SAP preferred).- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong working knowledge of PowerPoint are required.- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence others.Soft skills/individual competence- Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders.- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.- Proactive with a sense of ownership.- Well-organized with good time management.- Team player, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
