Design and enhance core payment capabilities (routing, retry logic, tokenization, recurring billing, 3DS, etc.). Lead integration strategy with banks, acquirers, card schemes, and wallets. Ensure scalable and resilient payment architecture aligned with business growth. Integration & API Product Management Own API product design (documentation, versioning, developer experience). Manage full integration lifecycle (sandbox → production → optimization). Reduce partner onboarding time and improve integration success rates. Ensure smooth connectivity with merchants and third-party partners. Agile Delivery & Product Ownership Act as Product Owner for payment squads. Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile ceremonies. Translate business needs into clear user stories with acceptance criteria. Manage sprint capacity, delivery timelines, and technical dependencies. Remove blockers to maintain development velocity. Stakeholder Management & Business Alignment Lead business walkthroughs and product demos for stakeholders. Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language. Align with commercial, operations, risk, compliance, and leadership teams. Support sales and product marketing in merchant-facing solutions. Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration Lead and mentor product team members. Drive agile best practices and product ownership culture. Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations teams. Ensure adherence to regulatory and security standards (CBE, PCI-DSS) . Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7–10 years in Product Management (Fin-tech/Payments). Minimum 4 years in payment gateways or acquiring platforms. Strong understanding of: Payment flows & gateway architecture. APIs (REST/GraphQL), webhooks, integrations. ISO 8583, 3DS, tokenization. Experience with acquirers and PSP integrations. Hands-on experience with Agile tools (Jira, Asana, etc.). Strong technical understanding with ability to work closely with engineering. Knowledge of PCI-DSS and regulatory frameworks.
