The Product Specialist will support the promotion and adoption of the company’s ophthalmic products by providing product information, training, and guidance to healthcare professionals and partners. Daily responsibilities include conducting product presentations, visiting clinics and hospitals, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring accurate communication of product benefits and usage. The role also involves gathering market feedback, analyzing product performance, collaborating with the sales team on promotional activities, and maintaining detailed records of customer interactions. The Product Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to support product launches and contribute to strategic initiatives that drive growth and improve patient outcomes.QualificationsStrong product specialization capabilities, with proven experience as a Product Specialist or in a similar role within pharmaceuticals or healthcare.Solid analytical skills to interpret market data, customer feedback, and sales reports, and to support evidence-based recommendations.Effective communication skills, including the ability to present complex scientific information clearly to healthcare professionals and internal teams.Customer service skills focused on building long-term relationships, addressing inquiries professionally, and supporting healthcare providers and patients.Sales skills, including basic understanding of sales processes, territory management, and collaboration with sales representatives to achieve targets.Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline are an advantage.Knowledge of ophthalmology or ophthalmic products is highly beneficial, along with familiarity with the Egyptian pharmaceutical market.Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, with willingness to travel locally for customer visits and events as needed.Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools, with strong organizational and documentation skills.Fluency in Arabic and good command of English, both written and spoken.
