The role focuses on operational excellence, team leadership, food safety and HSE compliance, cost control, and continuous process improvement, while leveraging data and reporting to drive performance, manage risks, and support business growth.Key Responsibilities: Operational Oversight:Manage daily operations and delivery across all facilitiesEnsure production schedules are met efficiently and safelyAssure product quality complies with standardsTeam Leadership:Hire, train, and supervise staff at the commissaryLead production to comply with standardsQuality Assurance & HSE:Implement and maintain quality control measures and food safety protocolsMonitor compliance with food safety regulations and standardsEnsure OHSE compliance at the facilityProcess Improvement:Lead teams to analyze production processes, identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.Collaborate with teams to optimize workflows and reduce wasteBudget and Cost ControlDevelop and manage the facility’s budget.Monitor expenses and optimize resource allocationReporting and Analysis:Maintain accurate records of production, quality control and safety auditsPrepare and present operational reports to upper management on performance metricsUtilize data analysis to make informed decisions and drive improvementsCrisis Management:Develop and implement contingency plans for emergencies or production disruptionsQualificationsUniversity degree in mechanical engineering, food technology, process engineering, operation management, or similarMandatory minimum 5+ years of experience in food production; preferability with poultry production / vegetable / salad production; at least 3 years in a managerial role.Proficiency in quality control, managing budget, and production costingAdvantage with GFSI or related lead auditor experienceStarting up of new facility and factory experienceStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesExceptional communication and interpersonal skills toward managing the team and stakeholders from other departments
