It offers an academic environment that encourages innovation, community engagement, and professional growth for faculty members.Role Description The Professor of Clinical Pathology will be a full-time, on-site faculty member based at Minufiya University in Al Minufiyah, Egypt. Responsibilities include delivering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in clinical pathology, designing and updating course materials, supervising laboratory sessions, and mentoring students and junior faculty. The role involves leading and participating in clinical and academic research projects, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and contributing to the development of diagnostic and laboratory protocols. The professor will collaborate with colleagues across medical and health-related disciplines, participate in departmental and university committees, and support accreditation, quality assurance, and community outreach activities. Ongoing professional development and engagement with national and international academic networks are expected.Qualifications Solid expertise in Medicine and Clinical Pathology, with board certification or equivalent specialist qualification.Demonstrated experience in Curriculum Development and educational program planning in medical or clinical sciences.Background in Psychology and Mental Health relevant to patient care, medical education, or interdisciplinary collaboration.Strong Research skills, including designing studies, securing funding, publishing in reputable journals, and supervising graduate research.Recognized academic track record with a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Clinical Pathology or a closely related field.Proven university teaching experience, including lecturing, clinical instruction, and student mentorship.Ability to work effectively in diverse, multicultural academic settings and collaborate across departments and health institutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an asset.Commitment to ethical practice, quality assurance, and continuous professional development in clinical and academic work.
