Position OverviewThe MCA Opportunity Engagement Committee (OEC) Coordinator is responsible for managing and facilitating the structured review process for business opportunities across the Middle East, Caspian, and Africa (MCA) region. This role ensures all opportunities meeting defined criteria are evaluated against risk criteria—including scope, compliance, technical, financial, and contractual aspects—before proposals are submitted to clients.Key ResponsibilitiesMeeting Management & FacilitationConduct OEC TEAMS meetings at pre-scheduled frequencies throughout the yearPre-schedule meetings for the full year at agreed intervals with all permanent OEC members and Area representativesDistribute MCA OEC Agenda 1 day before each scheduled meetingReview submitted opportunities through SalesforceVerify all required documentation is loaded in Salesforce before reviewIssue minutes of meeting and recommendations sheets documenting OEC feedback for team to addressCoordination & CommunicationCoordinate with Area OEC point of contact and Area Sales LeadersInform relevant stakeholders of meeting schedules and submission requirementsProvide MCA OEC process guidanceMonitoring, Tracking & DocumentationMonitor all opportunities that have progressed through Area and MCA OECsTrack recommendations closing actions and required approvalsUpload OEC conclusions and monitoring records to Salesforce for audit trail and record-keepingQuality Assurance & ComplianceEnsure compliance with company procedures and escalate breaches as quality incidentsProvide required support to team members with respect to process complianceFlag non-compliance when recommendations are not implementedRequired Skills & CompetenciesCore CompetenciesProcess Management: Strong ability to manage complex, multi-stage approval workflows and timelinesCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating across multiple stakeholders and regionsAttention to Detail: Meticulous documentation and verification of submissions and compliance requirementsOrganizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities and maintain accurate recordsTechnical SkillsSalesforce Proficiency: Advanced experience with Salesforce, including workflow management, file uploads, and approval trackingMicrosoft: Proficiency in using MS applications.Document Management: Competency in handling complex contractual and technical documentationInterpersonal SkillsStakeholder Management: Ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams (Sales, Product Lines, Legal, Finance, TIQ, Compliance)Leadership & Facilitation: Capable of leading meetings and driving consensus among senior-level participantsProblem-Solving: Proactive approach to resolving submission issues and timeline conflictsProfessionalism: Maintains confidentiality and adheres to company governance standardsWorking Conditions & RequirementsTravel: Minimal travel; primarily office-based with virtual meeting participationLanguages: Fluency in English required; additional regional languages (Arabic, French) beneficialAvailability: Must accommodate MCA region time zones and pre-scheduled weekly meeting commitmentsCompliance: Must comply with Bureau Veritas Group QHSSE policies and regional procedures
