Role Purpose To support the preparation and execution of construction strategies during the tender and pre-construction phases by developing safe, efficient, and cost-effective construction methods, ensuring technical compliance, and coordinating cross-functional planning with focus on logistics, mobilization, and technical documentation. Key Accountabilities Tender Methodology Development: Analyse tender documents and project requirements to assist in formulating appropriate and cost-effective construction methods. Technical Resolution & Compliance: Address technical issues and ensure that proposed solutions align with contractual, safety, and quality requirements. Technical Presentations & Documentation: Prepare summary sheets, technical presentations, and method statements for internal reviews and client meetings as needed. Logistics & Mobilization Planning: Develop logistics layouts and mobilization plans for each tender or early project phase, ensuring site readiness and workflow efficiency. Organizational & Equipment Planning: Contribute to the preparation of organization charts, equipment schedules, and other planning inputs required for tender submissions. Project Coordination Support: Collaborate with planning and technical teams to define work sequences and timelines that support efficient execution strategies. Multidisciplinary Interface: Participate in project kick-off and technical coordination meetings to evaluate designs, construction feasibility, and execution methodology. Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering. Minimum 1 year of experience in construction methods planning, technical coordination, or tender engineering. Good knowledge of construction logistics, staging, and mobilization. Familiarity with preparing engineering documentation (summary sheets, method statements, equipment plans). Strong communication and organizational abilities. Capable of effective teamwork across multiple departments.
