With its new services, SYSTRA supports its clients and partners in their digital, ecological and energy transition, in order to invent the mobility of tomorrow.ContextBlue Line Section 2 Lead QAQC EngineerMissions/Main DutiesPerforms quality control inspection duties related to work activities including, but not limited to the following:Review submissions from the Contractor and prepare comments Receives inspection notification from Contractor and ensures attendance as described in ITPMaintains frequent contact with Contractor’s quality control staff in performing their duties.Performs observation, surveillance activities on selected Contractor project field activities and field supervision operations including health, safety and environmental controls.Prepares Site Observation Reports reflecting observations of potential non-compliance and issue QVN if Contractor fails to provide their NCRLiaises with Project Construction personnel for any significant quality matters. Maintains a daily diary and issues daily reports to the Senior QA / QC EngineerIssues Site Observation Reports (SOR) to Contractor as appropriate Monitors progress for close out evidence of NCRs, QVNs and SORsMonitors project safety programs, assuring Contractor adherence to its approved safety plans Witness and record result of planned inspections (IR) as notified by the Contractor and maintain photographic records Witness laboratory sampling and testing Witness material inspections (MIR) Recognize developing issues related to non-compliant workMaintains proactive relationship with Contractor’s quality and supervisory staffs to facilitate any necessary corrective action by the Contractor in accordance with authorized procedures.Profile/SkillsExperience on industry relevant projects for position, preferably with successive responsibility on large projects transportation or infrastructure projects.Accredited college degree in related industry activities (engineering or construction management) or equivalent related experience.Certifications of continued industry training and education related to the work such as specifications quality standards related to the heavy construction, rail or transportation industry.Preferred Internal Auditor skillsEnglish fluency in reading, writing and speechProficient experience in key MS Desktop applications.Preferred prior experience on multi-phase projectsSystra is an equal opportunities company; this position is open to all applicants.
