Job Profile Summary:The Quality Control Manager (Protein Manufacturing and Processing Site) is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems, supervising inspection processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.Key Job Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain quality control policies and proceduresMonitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standardsLead and manage the quality control team (inspectors, technicians, analysts)Perform regular inspections, audits, and testing of products and processesIdentify defects, root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP, etc.)Analyze quality data and generate reports for managementCollaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve qualityManage customer complaints from a manufacturing perspective and ensure timely resolutionConduct training programs to enhance quality awareness across departmentsOversee supplier quality assessments and performance evaluationsEnsure documentation and record-keeping meet regulatory requirementsJob Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in food science/food technology / or a related fieldMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality control / IPC, with at least 3 years in a Quality managerial role.Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g. GSO, ISO 22000, BRC, FSSC 22000).Excellent auditing skills, with experience in conducting internal audits.Strong leadership and team management skills.Proven experience in building coaching teams.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Very good to excellent command of English
