Purpose of Job:The Quality Specialist supports the implementation, coordination, and maintenance of comprehensive quality management systems across OneHealth clinics, medical centers, and inpatient units. This role is vital for ensuring that healthcare programs and services are executed at the highest standards, patients receive the best level of care, and the organization complies with national laws and international accreditation standards, including JCI, ISO, and GAHAR.Duties and Responsibilities:1. Quality Systems & Accreditation Support• Assist in maintaining and monitoring the Quality Management System (QMS) across inpatient units, medical centers, and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to ensure services meet established quality standards.• Support the organization through JCI, ISO, and GAHAR accreditation cycles by ensuring continuous readiness and adherence to patient safety goals.• Participate in the development and implementation of quality procedures, policies, and standards.2. Quality & Clinical Audits• Monitor daily operations to ensure total compliance with regulatory requirements and national infection control guidelines.3. Patient Safety & Incident Management• Conduct regular audits and "tracer" activities across various departments, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy units.• Audit clinical encounters on EMR and monitor KPIs for supportive services like medical documentation, dental encounters, and medication purchasing.•Investigate Occurrence Variance Reports (OVRs), clinical complaints, and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) incidents reported.• Participate in deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for reported incidents to record action plans, mitigate design risks, and prevent recurrence.• Conduct infection control audits, including expanded inpatient/outpatient visits.• Support the continuous auditing of organizational processes and policies to ensure they are robustly designed to prevent sentinel events.4.Data Analytics, Reporting & Training• Monitor performance data and generate regular reports utilizing tools such as Excel, PPT, and Power BI.• Collaborate with product development teams and various task forces to identify areas for improvement and develop quality practices.• Help provide staff training and education on quality assurance initiatives, clinical guidelines, and documentation procedures.5. Patient Care Oversight• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage data entry including medical and other data for OH/AXA patients on the Peret system, supporting inpatient operational efficiency and a seamless patient journey.• Serve as a patient safety advocate by monitoring care plan implementation daily, proactively intervening to address clinical gaps, and escalating any deviations from planned care to ensure optimal patient experience and safety.Job Requirements:• Education:Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field is essential preferably a Physician, Dentist or Pharmacist.• Certifications: Certificates in quality management or/and accreditation are highly preferred.• Experience: Proven 1-3 years of experience in quality management and/or performance improvement within the healthcare or medical sector• Accreditation Knowledge: Desirable experience with healthcare accreditations such as JCI or GAHAR.• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data reporting and analytics using Excel, PPT, and Power BI.• Soft Skills: Excellent command of English, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, problem solving, and the ability to take initiative while working effectively within a team.
