Job DescriptionWe're looking for a Quality & Sustainability Manager to join our organization in Alexandria, Egypt. In this role, you will drive our commitment to operational excellence and environmental responsibility by developing and implementing comprehensive quality and sustainability programs. The ideal candidate will combine analytical rigor with a visionary approach to create measurable improvements across our operations while ensuring compliance with local and international standards.Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and ensure organizational compliance with relevant standardsDesign and execute sustainability initiatives that reduce environmental impact, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and resource optimization programsConduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and document findings with actionable recommendationsAnalyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process optimizationLead continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to enhance efficiency and reduce costsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality and sustainability practices into daily operations and decision-making processesDevelop and deliver training programs to ensure staff understanding of quality standards, sustainability practices, and regulatory requirementsPrepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management on quality performance, sustainability metrics, and compliance statusManage relationships with regulatory bodies and external auditors to ensure adherence to environmental and quality regulations specific to EgyptEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress toward quality and sustainability goalsIdentify and assess risks related to quality and environmental compliance, implementing mitigation strategies as neededQualificationsProven experience (5+ years) in quality management, sustainability, or related field within a manufacturing or operations environmentStrong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant quality and environmental management systemsProficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement frameworksDemonstrated expertise in data analysis, statistical tools, and performance measurementSolid understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability best practices, and carbon footprint analysisExperience conducting internal and external audits and managing corrective/preventive actionsExcellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levelsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with quality management software or ERP systemsKnowledge of supply chain sustainability and vendor management practicesFamiliarity with local Egyptian environmental regulations and compliance requirementsPreferred: Environmental certifications (such as ISO 14001 Lead Auditor or equivalent)Preferred: Experience in sustainability reporting and carbon accounting methodologiesStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
