Quantity Surveying Manager

Job purpose: Motivate, Manage, oversee and support the QS team with Material Quantity Take-off; Variationsand Payment Valuations & Applications.Roles & Responsibilities:· Manage the QS team (Mechanical, Architecture, Civil and Electrical) to ensure they carryoutaccurate and efficient Material Quantity Take-Off for all items in accordance with the Contractand its specified Method of Measurement, utilizing the companies specified software.· Ensure the QS team provides professional and presentable MQTO reports.· Manage and oversee the QS team to ensure they carryout accurately and efficiently handlevariations, from start to settlement of variations.· Carryout accurately and efficiently major variations (exceeding EGP one million) from start tosettlement of the variation.· Ensure the QS team provides professional and presentable variations logs, reports and records;· Manage and oversee the QS team to ensure the Valuations; Payment Applications and Invoicingare accurate and maximized on a monthly basis for all trades· Ensure the timely submission of Valuations; Payment Applications; & Invoicing in accordancewith the Contract.· Maximize the monthly cash in for the Project.· Identify and quantify any finance charges on delayed payments to the client and consultant.· Ensure all social insurance and documentation is collected and provided to consultant and client.· Manage and oversee the bonds, bank guarantees and insurance policies are provided and up todate.· Carry out any/all tasks assigned that are related to work nature or job duties.· Provide and maintain monthly reports and logs to the senior manager.· Delegate tasks to the QS team under his/her supervision.· Evaluate the subordinate QS Engineers.· Perform other assignments as necessary to support the function/department· Ensure working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, risk assessment andenvironmental aspects.Minimum Qualification & Requirements: Education/ Qualifications: BSC in Engineering or Diploma in Quantity SurveyingWork Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years of postgraduate experience in a related fieldLanguage: Very Good command of English languageComputer Skills: Microsoft office Auto Cad
