Key Responsibilities1. Quantity Take-Offs & MeasurementPerform comprehensive and highly accurate material take-offs (MTO) for all mechanical elements—including HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, drainage and water supply pipes, firefighting systems, and equipment (such as Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, DX units, VRF systems, pumps, and valves)—directly from tender drawings, schematics, and specifications.Utilize digital measurement software to generate clear, structured, and verifiable quantification sheets.Cross-check drawings against the provided Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to identify discrepancies, omissions, or volume variances.Prepare detailed RFQ packages (Request for Quotations) containing relevant mechanical specifications, schedules, and drawings to send to specialized subcontractors and equipment suppliers.Draft and structure detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) in accordance with standard methods of measurement.2. Tender AdministrationAssist the wider tendering team in assembling the final technical and commercial tender submittal dossiers, ensuring compliance with client requirements.Skills1. Technical Skills:Advanced MS Excel and a solid working knowledgeof AutoCAD or Revit MEP (specifically for quantity extraction, volume calculations, and drawing verification).Solid understanding of mechanical engineering construction details, standards, and codes (including ASHRAE, SMACNA, and NFPA).In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems (chilled water networks, VRF, DX units, FCUs, AHUs, ducting), plumbing & drainage layout systems, and fire protection systems.2. Soft Skills: High level of technical precision and attention to detail.Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple high-pressure tender deadlines simultaneously.Clear, assertive, and professional communication skills for coordinating with internal colleagues, suppliers, and subcontractors.
