R&D Chemist (Water Treatment Chemicals Factory)

Job Purpose:To carry out research and development activities to improve existing chemical products and develop new formulations for water treatment applications, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.Main Responsibilities:Product Development:Develop and enhance water treatment chemicals such as antiscalants, dispersants, coagulants, and corrosion inhibitorsConduct laboratory experiments to improve product performance and reduce costsDesign new formulations according to customer needs and market requirementsTesting and Analysis:Perform laboratory tests on raw materials and finished productsAnalyze chemical and physical properties to ensure compliance with specificationsRecord and interpret test results and prepare technical reportsTechnical Support and Coordination:Work closely with the production team to apply new or modified formulationsProvide technical assistance to the sales team and customers when requiredEvaluate and recommend new raw materials in cooperation with suppliersQuality and Safety Compliance:Follow ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirementsEnsure all laboratory and production activities comply with MSDS and safety standardsParticipate in quality improvement and cost optimization projectsDocumentation and Reporting:Maintain organized and detailed R&D records, test reports, and formulation dataPrepare periodic reports highlighting research progress and recommendationsRequirementsQualifications and Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from a recognized universityMinimum 3 years of experience in water treatment chemicals or related chemical industriesGood knowledge of water treatment processes (cooling towers, boilers, wastewater)Familiarity with laboratory instruments and analytical techniquesGood command of English (spoken and written)Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and lab data systemsPersonal Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesCreativity and innovation in chemical formulationAccuracy, organization, and attention to detailTeamwork and effective communication skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesBenefits offered: For the transportation: yes, it is available, but it is preferable to be from Giza, 6th October City, or HaramWork location and model: Onsite from industrial zone in 6th OctoberResidential location restrictions: from Giza, 6th October City, or Haram.
