We believe in making Great Moments for Everyone, Every day.JOB TITLER2R Tower lead | MAF Global Solutions | Global Solutions EgyptROLE SUMMARYThe Record to Report (R2R) Tower Lead is responsible for leading the end-to-end R2R function across multiple Retail entities, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in line with IFRS, regulatory requirements, and company policies. The role drives governance, operational excellence, process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement while leading high-performing teams and partnering with key business and finance stakeholders to support financial integrity.ROLE PROFILELead end-to-end R2R operations across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and successful month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.Oversee balance sheet integrity by reviewing journals, reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and high-risk accounting areas to ensure compliance and accuracy.Ensure adherence to IFRS, internal controls, tax regulations, audit requirements, and Group reporting standards across all markets.Act as the escalation point for complex accounting issues, operational risks, reconciliation challenges, and service delivery matters.Build strong partnerships with Business Units, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Group Reporting, and other stakeholders to align financial operations with business needs.Lead, develop, and mentor Process Managers and Associate Managers through effective resource planning, coaching, succession planning, and performance management.Drive process standardization, ERP enhancements, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement to improve efficiency, scalability, and service quality.Monitor KPIs, SLAs, audit outcomes, and reporting quality, implementing corrective actions to ensure operational excellence and continuous performance improvement.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce, with a professional qualification such as CPA, CMA, or IFRS certification.12+ years of experience in Finance and Record to Report operations within complex, high-volume, multi-entity organizations.Proven leadership experience managing large R2R teams and shared services operations across multiple business units or countries.Strong technical expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, balance sheet management, and accounting governance.Advanced proficiency in SAP or other enterprise ERP systems, with strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.Demonstrated strengths in strategic leadership, stakeholder management, communication, decision-making, change management, and continuous improvement.WHAT WE OFFERAt Majid Al Futtaim, we’re on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build, experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
