Real Estate Accountant

Location: Cairo, EgyptPreference will be given to residents of Obour City or nearby areas.Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven "Real Estate Accountant" to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have solid accounting experience with a strong understanding of real estate operations and AR, including revenue recognition, installment plans, and project-based accounting.Key Responsibilities:* Record daily financial transactions, including revenues, expenses, and journal entries* Manage customer accounts, collections, and installment schedules* Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments* Handle deferred revenue and revenue recognition in line with accounting standards* Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and analysis* Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data* Support budgeting, forecasting, and project cost tracking* Collaborate with Sales and Legal teams regarding contracts and collectionsRequirements:* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field* 3–5 years of experience in accounting (Real Estate or Construction is a strong plus)* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting* Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar)* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel* Familiarity with installment-based sales and revenue recognition concepts* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* High attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:* Experience in real estate development or property management* Knowledge of IFRS standardsWhat We Offer:* Competitive salary package* Professional growth and career development* Dynamic and collaborative work environmentHow to Apply:Please send your CV to: samehsherif@tacknia.com with the subject line "Real Estate Accountant Application"
