Job Purpose The Sales Manager at Air Arabia plays a crucial role in driving the airline's revenue growth by overseeing and managing the sales team's activities. This position is responsible for developing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with key partners and clients. The Sales Manager works closely with the Commercial Manager and other departments to achieve sales targets and ensure the airline's market presence remains strong.Key Result Responsibilities 1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand Air Arabia's market share.2. Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve their individual and collective sales goals.3. Identify and explore new sales opportunities in existing and emerging markets.4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, GSAs, and other potential sales channels to drive bookings and sales.5. Monitor sales performance and KPIs, providing regular reports and analysis to the management team.6. Collaborate with the Marketing department to design and execute sales campaigns and promotions effectively.7. Stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.8. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote Air Arabia's products and services.9. Work with the Commercial Manager to optimize fare structures and pricing strategies.10. Handle negotiations and contracts with partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Key Result Responsibilities - Continued11. Manages performance of direct reports through objective setting, continuous support, feedback, and formal reviews to ensure business objectives are met; Ensures conflict management, grievances handling, disciplinary issues are handled effectively in line with company procedures. 15. Perform any additional duties as advised by the Line Manager. Qualifications (Academic, training, languages) Minimum bachelor’s in Management, Commerce, Sales, Marketing or any other relevant field Work Experience 5 years of extensive working experience in a similar role in the aviation/travel industry of which minimum 1 year experience supervising/ managing a team.- Proven experience in sales management within the aviation industry, preferably in the airline sector.- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of successfully leading sales teams.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.- In-depth knowledge of the airline industry, market dynamics, and sales strategies.- Proficiency in sales forecasting and budgeting.- Customer-focused approach with a dedication to providing excellent service.- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, meeting deadlines and targets.
