Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in the water treatment equipment market. Conduct technical and sales presentations to industrial, municipal, and commercial clients. Understand and communicate the technical specifications, benefits, and applications of water treatment systems. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, including pricing, quoting, and contract negotiation. Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to provide accurate product information and solutions. Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through follow-ups, service recommendations, and upselling. Attend trade shows, industry events, and site visits to promote products and expand market presence. Track sales performance, report on key metrics, and provide insights to improve sales strategies. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in water treatment. Minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience in the water treatment, environmental, or industrial equipment sector. Strong understanding of water treatment processes (e.g., filtration, reverse osmosis, UV disinfection, softening, etc.). Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to explain complex technical information in simple, client-friendly terms. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field (preferred). Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (up to 30% of time) as required.
