The role involves working closely with clients to deliver scalable and integrated PS/CPM capabilities that enhance project planning, execution, financial tracking, and commercial processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead SAP PS and CPM solution design, configuration, and deployment.Analyze business requirements related to project planning, budgeting, cost control, resource management, and commercial processes.Configure Core SAP PS ComponentsWork Breakdown Structures (WBS)Networks & ActivitiesCost Planning & BudgetingSettlementsMilestones, Progress Analysis, Results AnalysisDesign And Configure SAP CPM Functions IncludingProject Workspace & Project ControlCommercial PlanningRisk & Issue ManagementFinancial planning and profitability managementDevelop functional specs for WRICEF objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).Support full project lifecycle activities—blueprinting, build, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.Work with cross-functional teams (FI/CO, MM, SD, HR, PM) for integrated solutions.Provide L2/L3 production support and ensure adherence to SLAs.Prepare documentation: configuration guides, process flows, training materials.Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP PS/CPM capability.Required Skills & Experience4–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Project Systems and/or Commercial Project Management.Strong understanding of end-to-end project lifecycle: planning, execution, controlling, billing, and financial closure.Deep Knowledge InWBS, Networks, ActivitiesCosting, Budgeting, ForecastingRA (Results Analysis) & SettlementsProject Billing (Fixed Price, Time & Material)Experience With SAP S/4HANA PS/CPM Preferred.Integration expertise with FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM.Proven capability to work in onshore/offshore delivery models.Ability to create functional specifications and collaborate effectively with ABAP teams.Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.Preferred QualificationsSAP Certification in PS or CPM.Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe).Prior consulting experience with global clients.Exposure to EPPM, PPM, or SAP Analytics Cloud for project reporting (optional).
