Gamma International College is seeking a qualified and compassionate School Psychologist to support students’ emotional, behavioral, social, and academic well-being within a safe and inclusive learning environment aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy.The successful candidate will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership to identify and address students’ psychological and emotional needs while promoting positive mental health, personal development, and student success.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual and group counseling sessions for students as needed.Conduct psychological and behavioral assessments to support student development and learning.Support students facing emotional, behavioral, social, or academic challenges.Develop intervention plans and strategies in collaboration with teachers and parents.Promote student well-being, resilience, and positive behavior within the school community.Support safeguarding and child protection procedures in line with school policies.Assist in crisis intervention and conflict resolution when required.Collaborate with academic and student support teams to ensure students’ needs are effectively addressed.Maintain confidential student records, reports, and documentation.Conduct awareness sessions and workshops for students, parents, and staff related to mental health and well-being.Monitor students requiring additional emotional or psychological support.Refer students to external specialists when necessary.Participate in school meetings, activities, and professional development sessions. Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or a related field.Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or School Psychology is preferred.Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an international or IB school.Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.Experience in counseling, behavioral support, and psychological assessments.Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and student well-being practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff members.Excellent command of English language (spoken and written).Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.Strong organizational, reporting, and problem-solving skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.Empathetic, patient, and student-centered approach.
