The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining lab equipment, preparing materials for experiments, and ensuring the lab environment is safe and organized for both students and staff.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and setup laboratory equipment and materials for experiments and practical sessions across various subjectsMaintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure it is in good working conditionAssist teachers in conducting experiments and demonstrations, providing support to students as neededEnsure compliance with safety regulations and lab protocols, maintaining a clean and orderly workspaceManage inventory of lab supplies, ensuring that materials are stocked and equipment is properly stored and accessibleDocument and report any issues with lab equipment or supplies to the relevant staffParticipate in routine maintenance and cleaning of the laboratory, including disposing of hazardous materials according to safety guidelinesRequirementsBachelor's degree in science, pharmacy or chemical engineeringExperience in a laboratory setting in an educational environment is preferredStrong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and proceduresExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamGood communication and interpersonal skills to support teachers and studentsProficient in using laboratory instruments and general computer applicationsSafeguarding Statement: The safety and welfare of our students are our top priority.
