This role will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches to ensure that products, applications, and systems work correctly.What You'll Be DoingMandatory strong experience with Selenium for UI automation testingProficient in Java programming for test automation developmentHands-on knowledge of TestNG framework for test execution and reportingSkilled in Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD) test scenariosExperience in API or mobile automation using either RESTASSURED or Appium (one mandatory)Familiarity with basics of CI/CD pipelines and integration (preferred)Proficient with Git for version control and collaborationExperienced in using Postman for API manual and exploratory testingStrong understanding and practical use of SQL for database validation in testsOptional knowledge of No-SQL databases is a plusPreferably with fintech industry experience and domain knowledgeSolid experience with manual frontend web testing across browsers and environmentsProven experience testing backend APIs with automation and manual approachesIn-depth understanding of quality control processes including test planning, detailed test case design (both high and low level), multiple execution cycles, and reporting of resultsSkilled in static testing by reviewing, clarifying, and investigating tickets created by the product team to ensure clarity and testabilityStrong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholdersCommitment to improving test coverage, automation frameworks, and overall QA processes.Requirements2+ Years of proven experience in Software Testing, with proven knowledge of test management and issues tracking software.Experience in web automation using selenium is a mustExperience in mobile automation using Appium is a mustExperience in performance testing is a plusAbility to document and troubleshoot errors, attain to details, and highlight possible risksExperience in Web and mobile application testingKnowledge about automated testing tools is a plusKnowledge about RESTful and SOAP services testing is a plusKnowledge about SQL databases is a plusPrevious working experience in Agile Scrum delivery teams is preferred.Capabilities to write and execute unit test cases.Knowledge of software engineering best practices and tools.A University degree (BSc) in Software Engineering or similar background is preferred.Good command of English (written and verbal).Perks of working @ AxisHybrid working conditions.Medical Insurance for You and your family.Gym subscription.Marriage leave policy.Very competitive leave policy including extended Maternity and Paternity leaves.
