Job PurposeThe Senior Accountant is responsible for delivering efficient and accurate accounting services across multiple GCC entities within a shared services environment.The role ensures timely financial reporting, adherence to control frameworks, and seamless coordination across accounting activities while supporting consistent, SLA-driven service delivery to regional stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Accounting & Financial ReportingExecute end-to-end accounting activities including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and provisionsMaintain and monitor General Ledger accuracy across multiple legal entitiesSupport preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsEnsure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policiesCross-Functional Accounting SupportCollaborate with AP, AR, and other finance teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial dataOversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminationsSupport fixed assets accounting (capitalization, depreciation, disposals)Assist in tax-related deliverables in coordination with tax functionReconciliations & Financial ControlPerform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerEnsure strong financial controls and adherence to company policiesMaintain audit-ready documentation and support internal/external auditsIdentify and escalate risks or inconsistenciesRegional SupportAct as a key point of contact for finance stakeholders across GCC marketsProvide financial data, analysis, and responses to regional teamsSupport local statutory and compliance requirements in coordination with in-country teamsAssist in handling multi-entity, multi-currency accounting environmentsProcess Excellence & Shared Services DeliveryOperate effectively within a high-volume shared services environment with defined SLAsEnsure accuracy, timeliness, and service quality across deliverablesContribute to process harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiativesSupport transition, migration, and stabilization activities within SSCSystems & ReportingProcess transactions and reporting using ERP systems (SAP preferred)Support automation and efficiency improvements within accounting processesGenerate reports and dashboards to support reporting and business needsQualifications & ExperienceEducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldProfessional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantageExperience4+ years of relevant accounting experienceExposure to shared services or high-volume finance operations is preferredExperience supporting multi-country or regional finance operations (GCC exposure is a plus)Strong hands-on experience across multiple accounting areas (GL, intercompany, fixed assets, reporting)Skills & CompetenciesSolid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS)Fluency in English is a mustStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsProficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred)For further information, and to apply, please visit our website via the “Apply” button below.
