The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of EYouth's financial records across its multi-entity operations in Egypt, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, compliance with local tax regulations, and support for consolidated financial reporting. The Senior Accountant works closely with the Finance Manager and collaborates cross-functionally with Commercial and Operations teams.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Ledger & Month-End CloseMaintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all journal entries across EYouth Egypt and EYouth Limited (UAE/KSA entities)Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures within required timelinesPrepare and review account reconciliations, accruals, and prepaymentsSupport preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statementsAccounts Receivable & PayableOversee AR/AP cycles including invoice processing, payment runs, and collection follow-upMonitor aging reports and coordinate with the Commercial team on outstanding balancesProcess intercompany transactions and perform intercompany reconciliations across EGP, AED, and SARBank Reconciliation & Cash ManagementPerform monthly bank reconciliations for all company accountsIdentify and resolve discrepancies including unrecorded transactions, FX fees, and ad spend chargesSupport cash flow forecasting and weekly disbursement reporting to senior managementTax CompliancePrepare and file monthly VAT returns and withholding tax (WHT) submissions in compliance with Egyptian Tax Authority requirementsSupport annual corporate income tax (CIT) filing and coordinate with external auditorsEnsure accurate tax provisioning and maintain supporting documentationERP & SystemsOperate and maintain financial records in Odoo and QuickBooksEnsure chart of accounts integrity, analytic tagging, and cost center allocations are correctly appliedSupport ERP data imports, reconciliation, and system hygiene initiativesReporting & AnalysisAssist in preparing monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and executive dashboardsContribute to quarterly reports and other ad hoc financial analysesMaintain accurate multi-currency records and support FX gain/loss reportingQualifications & RequirementsEducation & CertificationBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)CPA, CMA, or ACCA qualification — completed or in progress (preferred)Experience5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or regional companySolid understanding of Egyptian tax regulations (VAT, WHT, CIT) is requiredExperience with multi-currency accounting (EGP, AED, SAR) is strongly preferredPrior exposure to EdTech, training, or professional services sectors is a plusTechnical SkillsProficiency in Odoo ERP and/or QuickBooks (required)Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modellingFamiliarity with IFRS revenue recognition principlesExperience with intercompany reconciliations and consolidationSoft SkillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentStrong communication skills in Arabic and English (written and spoken)Collaborative mindset with cross-functional coordination experience📍 Location: Maadi-Cairo📩 To apply, please send your CV to: Nourhan.Elbaz@eyouthlearning.com
