The Senior Architect leads the architectural design process, ensuring projects meet their design objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The role involves managing design teams, developing creative and functional solutions, coordinating with various disciplines, conducting value engineering, and ensuring the integrity of the design concept throughout the project lifecycle.Responsibilities:Design Leadership: Lead the design from concept to construction, ensuring alignment with project goals and Client expectations. This involves the meticulous creative intervention in the development of macro and micro design solutions in the project, their detailing, coordination with other design trades and, to some extent, site execution. Team Management & Mentorship: Manage and mentor architects and junior architects, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment. Coordination & Integration: Ensure seamless integration of design solutions through effective coordination with structural, MEP, and other design teams. A senior/project architect is deemed as a design process owner whose expertise, commitment and creativity are key factors to the quality of the outcome design documentation.Value Engineering & Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost-efficiency and design improvements while maintaining quality.BIM Implementation: Oversee the use of BIM tools and ensure the design team adheres to BIM execution standards. Follow up clash detection efforts to ensure the elimination of BIM clashes as well as omissions and gaps.Design Documentation: Ensure the creation of accurate and comprehensive architectural design drawings, models, reports and specifications.Client & Stakeholder Communication: Present design Clients, and authority departments to obtain feedback and approvals. Quality Assurance: Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements, quality standards, and the project’s original vision. Receive and action Quality Control comments provided by Quality management Department.QualificationsEquivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Registered Architect 10+ years of experience as a designer, including supervisory and project management experience.Having a LEED, Revit and PMP Certificate is essentialExcellent communication, writing and computer skills (AutoCad packages, Revit, Microstation and MS Office programs)Excellent command of English
