Job DescriptionJob title: SENIOR AUTOMATION ENGINEERLocation: Cairo, EgyptJob reference #: 33405Contract type: PermanentLanguage requirements: English (intermediate level)At Eni, we are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer within EniProgetti Egypt Ltd. in Cairo.Main ResponsibilitiesLead the discipline project team to ensure the effective execution of Instrumentation and Automation activitiesVerify the accuracy of calculations and analyses from both technical and procedural perspectivesEnsure compliance with project philosophies, specifications, standards, laws, safety requirements and best practicesApply lessons learned from previous projects to design and execution activitiesSupport the Engineering Manager in finalising the project execution plan and during cost estimation activitiesDefine and implement technical solutions in line with project objectivesManage outsourced engineering services and report performance to the Engineering ManagerPrepare, verify and issue discipline and multidisciplinary documents, coordinating interfaces and information exchange with other PDLsEnsure the correct use of standards, best practices, IT tools and the Quality Management System throughout the project lifecycleAttend client meetings as requiredEnsure full compliance with national HSE legislation and company HSE policies, promoting a safe and healthy workplaceSkills And Experience RequiredUniversity degree in EngineeringExtensive experience in Automation and Instrumentation engineering for oil and gas facilitiesExperience across all project phases (feasibility studies, FEED, detailed engineering and construction supervision)Experience in both onshore and offshore projectsStrong experience with automation systems, including SCADA, PLC, DCS and ESD systemsStrong knowledge of CONVAL calculation softwareExperience in renewable energy is a plusHow To ApplyApplications are only accepted through our online application systemPlease upload your CV in EnglishAbout EniEni is a global energy company operating in 61 Countries, with over 30,000 employees.
