Senior Business Analyst

Job SummaryThe Senior Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze processes, and develop solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting analysis, and ensuring that proposed solutions align with business objectives.Accountability & ResponsibilitiesWork with stakeholders to elicit, document, and manage business requirements.Translate business needs into functional specifications and detailed requirements.Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.Develop and present recommendations for process changes or system enhancements.Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current state and desired outcomes.Create detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.Provide regular updates and status reports on project progress.Assist in the development of project plans and timelines.2 – RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.Previous experience as a Business Analyst 5+ years of experience. Experience with specific industries or tools may be required depending on the job.Previous experience in a business analysis role is required, preferably in workflow and Digital transformation systems and integration with Government portals such as Digital Egypt and G2GProven Experience writing SRS, BRD, Conceptual diagramsExperience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall,Experience with data analysis and visualization techniques.Familiarity with specific domains such as finance, healthcare, retail.
