Team members collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification, creating a stable environment for long-term professional growth.Role Description The Senior Business Development Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in 6th of October, responsible for driving growth in HVAC and firefighting systems and electromechanical contracting services. This role includes identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and presenting solutions to prospective clients. The Senior Business Development Engineer will conduct market and competitor analysis, build and maintain client relationships, and collaborate with engineering and project teams to align offerings with customer needs. Daily tasks also include managing the sales pipeline, negotiating contracts, supporting project handover, and providing regular performance and forecast reports to leadership.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Business Development and New Business Development skills to identify opportunities and expand the client base.Candidates should possess solid Sales and Communication skills to present solutions, negotiate agreements, and maintain client relationships.Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to assess markets, evaluate project feasibility, and interpret business performance data.Relevant experience in HVAC, firefighting systems, or electromechanical contracting is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.Proven track record in technical sales or business development within engineering or construction sectors.Ability to work on-site, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.Proficiency in preparing technical proposals, cost estimates, and commercial offers, with attention to detail and compliance.
