Senior Cloud Engineer - AWS (Professional Services)

The Senior Cloud Engineer – AWS plays a key role within the Professional Services team by designing and delivering complex, enterprise-grade AWS solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and client-facing capabilities.In addition to hands-on technical delivery, you will actively participate in client discussions, translating business requirements into actionable designs, and present recommendations to technical and non- technical stakeholders. Your work will directly impact the success of strategic cloud projects, helping clients maximize the value and resilience of their AWS environmentsResponsibilities:Design and implement complex and scalable AWS architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS servicesLead technical workstreams within large, multi-phased migration or modernization projectsConduct AWS Well-Architected Reviews and provide recommendations to improve clients' cloud environmentsDesign and implement secure networking architectures on AWS, ensuring high availability and complianceDevelop infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, and scripting languages like PythonLead or support migrations to AWS using native migration services, tools, and best practicesTroubleshoot complex technical issues across compute, networking, databases, and storageCollaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical solutions to internal and client stakeholdersProvide technical mentorship to mid-level engineers, promoting best practices in design and deliveryDocument technical designs, implementation plans, and operational runbooksSupport DevOps initiatives, CI/CD pipelines, and automation to increase efficiency and consistencyRequirements4–6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and systems engineering, 3 years hands-on experience with AWS. Strong hands-on experience in AWS migration tools and frameworksExperience with AWS database migrationsStrong knowledge of AWS networking, compute, storage, databases, IAM, and high availability designGood understanding of AWS disaster recovery, backup strategies, and cross-region deploymentsSolid Linux and Windows Server administration skillsWorking knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerized workloadsExperience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid cloud setupsExcellent communication and client interaction skillsAWS Architect Professional certification preferredKnowledge of Terraform, AWS CLI, and automation scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell)
