Department: Accounting DepartmentOrganization: Pearl Pixels Location: Egypt, Cairo – Zahraa Maadi- onsitePurpose of the RoleThe Senior Cost Accountant is responsible for establishing and managing a rigorous cost accounting framework to ensure high-accuracy financial reporting. The focus is on technical mastery of projects costing and ERP-driven data integrity to provide management with reliable cost figures for operational decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesProjects Costing Calculate the full cost of projects from A to Z through to delivery, incorporating direct cost, direct labor, and overhead (fixed & variable).Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and ensure accuracy of cost per production order.Generate monthly reports under both Absorption Costing and Variable Costing methods.Variance Analysis & Cost ControlConduct detailed variance analysis (price variance, quantity variance, overhead variance) comparing actual costs versus standard costs.Investigate root causes of unexpected cost increases and recommend corrective actions to management.Monitor raw material consumption efficiency and flag deviations proactively.Budgeting & Financial ReportingContribute to the annual budget preparation process by providing accurate historical cost data and trend analysis.Build performance dashboards and costing reports that support executive decision-making.Collaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, and operations to drive cost optimization initiatives.ERP System ManagementManage all cost-related transactions in Microsoft Dynamics/ Odoo .Ensure the integrity of ERP data through regular reconciliation and system audits.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of dedicated experience in cost accounting within large-scale projects or international business sectors.Deep functional proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or Odoo, specifically in the costing modules.Expert-level knowledge of COGS reporting, BOM management, and complex variance investigation.Mastery of advanced Excel functions for complex financial modeling and detailed cost breakdown reports.Deep knowledge of international commercial accounting model.Key Skills & CompetenciesProduct Cost Calculation (End-to-End).
