Senior Demand Planning Engineer

IML Packaging is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to join our growing Supply Chain team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate demand forecasting, inventory planning, and cross-functional alignment to support optimal production and service levels. The Demand Planner will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Procurement teams to analyze trends, manage forecast inputs, and help maintain the right balance between supply and demand.RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop, maintain, and improve short-term and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales input.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Production teams to understand demand drivers and adjust forecasts accordingly.Monitor forecast accuracy and report deviations to drive improvements.Lead monthly demand planning meetings to align with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.Analyze sales patterns, customer orders, and market intelligence to identify risks and opportunities in the forecast.Work with Supply Planning to ensure production schedules align with forecasted demand.Identify and help resolve supply chain constraints related to forecasted demand.Utilize ERP and planning tools for data analysis and reporting.Prepare regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory status, and service levels.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in forecasting processes and tools.REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analysis, or related roles (FMCG or manufacturing experience preferred).Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel, forecasting tools, and ERP systems.Experience with demand planning or statistical forecasting tools (e.g., SAP, Excel-based models).Knowledge of S&OP processes and inventory management principles.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decisions.Experience in the packaging or manufacturing industry.Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.APICS certification (CPIM)or equivalent is a plus.Exposure to automation and digital forecasting tools or platforms.BENEFITSTransportation / Transportation Allowance ProvidedHousing ProvidedBonusSocial and Medical Insurance
