About The Programmes Architecture Department – PADThe Programmes Architecture Department (PAD) functions as the strategic engineering core of the Service Delivery Sector. Operating as the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), this department is responsible for designing, standardizing, and evaluating the complex systemic architectures that power Kwentra’s deployments. From deep pre-sales technical scoping to high-level onboarding services and R&D evaluation, PAD ensures that all product implementations and ongoing support especially complex distribution and multi-property ecosystems are flawlessly mapped, highly scalable, and completely standardized, eliminating the need for custom rework and protecting the integrity of our core software.About Your Role ContributionAs a Senior E-Commerce & Distribution Specialist within the Programmes Architecture team, your mission is to ensure our clients' digital storefronts are flawlessly architected, connected, and optimized. You have transitioned from the front lines of hotel digital operations to the technical side of hospitality tech, giving you a unique, highly empathetic advantage. You understand the intense pressure of "sell-out" dates, the complexity of multi-property mapping, and the critical importance of an absolutely seamless PMS-to-OTA sync. Acting as the ultimate technical detective and distribution architect, you contribute directly to the SDS goals by proactively eliminating connectivity friction, maximizing hotel revenue through airtight channel management, and ensuring Kwentra's distribution capabilities translate into a highly successful customer experience without requiring custom R&D rework.Your role is designed as SME working across all the SDS units, you will be assigned on multiple pre-sales activities, ongoing implementation projects, technical support, account management, and ongoing collaboration with the Business Excellence Unit (BEU) and Customer Experience Office (CXO).Core Workflows & Responsibilities● OTA Lifecycle Management: Lead the end-to-end setup of OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, etc.), from initial commercial contracting and legal onboarding to live, flawless inventory distribution.● Channel Manager Strategy: Act as the internal expert and architect for Channel Manager configurations (SiteMinder, STAAH, RateGain, etc.), ensuring the "Kwentra-to-Channel Manager-to-OTA" pipeline is airtight and globally standardized.● Property Group Onboarding: Manage the complex migration and mapping for large hotel groups or hospitality management companies, ensuring room types, rate plans, and critical restrictions (CTA/CTD) are mirrored accurately and scalably across all platforms.● Revenue Collaboration: Work closely with clients' revenue and sales teams to strategically implement dynamic pricing strategies and promotional campaigns via the Channel Manager, acting as a collaborative extension of their business.● Product Utilization & ROI Optimization: Proactively audit clients' distribution ecosystems to identify underutilized Kwentra features (such as Direct Booking Engine integrations or advanced yield capabilities). Advise and guide hoteliers on how to fully activate and leverage their existing products to capture higher-margin bookings and maximize their overall revenue.● Revenue Collaboration: Work closely with clients' revenue and sales teams to strategically implement dynamic pricing strategies and promotional campaigns via the Channel Manager, acting as a collaborative extension of their business.● Distribution Health Audits: Conduct proactive, structured audits of client rate parity and inventory synchronization post-deployment. Transform complex distribution data into actionable insights, helping clients reduce third-party commission leakage and drive more profitable direct sales.● Architectural Blueprinting & Standardization: Design, document, and maintain standardized mapping templates and configuration SOPs. Ensure these architectural blueprints are flawlessly handed over to the Customer Support (CS) teams, empowering them to resolve Tier 1 connectivity issues without escalating to higher levels.● Technical Troubleshooting & Friction Elimination: Solve high-stakes connectivity issues, parity discrepancies, and mapping errors that impact hotel occupancy. Work diplomatically with internal teams to trace issues and implement sustainable systemic workarounds. What You Bring to Kwentra● Mapping Logic Expertise: A deep, systemic understanding of how "Base Rates" and "Derived Rates" flow from the PMS to the extranets, combined with the technical acumen to design scalable configurations.● Market Manager Relations: Established relationships with OTA Market Managers and the diplomatic skills required to expedite support, negotiate issues, and facilitate participation in "Preferred" programs.● Operational Empathy: You fundamentally understand the hotelier’s perspective and can proactively anticipate the needs of a Front Office or Reservations team when configuring and troubleshooting distribution.● Analytical Rigor: A meticulous ability to audit a property’s digital presence, identify invisible "leakage" where inventory isn't reaching the market, and design immediate, standardized solutions.● Problem-Solving Mastery: A "technical detective" mindset possessing the resilience and systemic knowledge to trace exactly why a rate didn't update or why a reservation failed to push to the PMS under high-pressure scenarios.● Uncompromising Precision: Absolute attention to detail and precision in rate loading and mapping, understanding that a 1% error in this role can lead to significant financial loss and negatively impact the customer experience.● Process Discipline & Agile Autonomy: A strict commitment to structured workflows, documentation, and quality checklists. Capable of working autonomously while staying aligned with tight timelines.● Global Communication Expertise: Persuasive communication skills to manage international stakeholders across time zones, efficiently using asynchronous tools in a hybrid work environment. Qualifications & Expertise● Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, E-Commerce, or a related field.
