Job Purpose:The Senior FP&A Analyst is a key strategic partner within the Finance Department at Pharco. This role is responsible for driving the corporate budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes across manufacturing units and commercial divisions. By delivering deep quantitative analysis, cost-efficiency evaluations, and accurate management reporting, the Senior FP&A Analyst provides senior leadership and General Managers with the financial intelligence required to optimize operational performance and evaluate new strategic projectsKey Responsibilities:1. Financial Planning, Budgeting & ForecastingAnnual Budgeting: Coordinate and drive the annual corporate budgeting process across multiple departments and pharmaceutical manufacturing lines, ensuring alignment with corporate targets.Rolling Forecasts: Develop and update dynamic monthly and quarterly rolling forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) to reflect shifting market dynamics and supply chain variations.Scenario Modeling: Build sophisticated, flexible financial models to simulate "what-if" scenarios, evaluating the financial impact of price changes, currency fluctuations, or regulatory updates by the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA).2. Management Reporting & Performance AnalyticsVariance Analysis: Conduct monthly actual-vs-budget and actual-vs-forecast variance analyses, identifying underlying operational drivers, cost overruns, or revenue shortfalls.Executive Dashboards: Prepare comprehensive monthly management reporting packs, financial presentations, and KPI dashboards for senior stakeholders and executive leadership.Sales & Commercial Analysis: Partner with the commercial and sales forces to evaluate product-portfolio profitability, medical representative productivity, and market-share performance.3. Cost Optimization & Strategic Decision SupportCOGS & Manufacturing Analytics: Analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), raw material procurement variances, and factory overhead utilization to identify manufacturing efficiency opportunities.Feasibility Studies: Lead financial feasibility studies and ROI analyses for proposed capital expenditures (CapEx), new production lines, product launches, or regional expansion plans.Working Capital Monitoring: Evaluate cash flow dynamics and working capital cycles, providing recommendations to optimize inventory levels and accounts receivable turnover.Job Requirements & Qualifications:Education & Professional CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a business-related field.Highly Preferred: CFA, CMA, or MBA candidate/holder.ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, or accounting.Industry Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector is strongly preferred, showcasing a solid understanding of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and supply chain variables.
