We’re changing this by enabling all consumers to instantly receive credit within minutes at their favorite merchants.Job ScopeThe Financial Associate is responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities across the company. This role will drive budgeting, forecasting, strategic financial modeling, and provide insights to support executive decision-making. The role will also include evaluating key business opportunities such as mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and leading a team of financial analysts.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of the company’s annual budgets, long-term forecasts, and financial models in support of strategic initiatives.Conduct comprehensive analysis of complex financial data (e.g., revenue trends, cost drivers, margin analysis) to provide actionable insights for executives and senior management.Oversee the preparation of board-level reports, investor presentations, and regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial goals.Evaluate financial performance of mergers, acquisitions, and capital investment opportunities, providing ROI, risk analysis, and recommendations for investment decisions.Collaborate with department heads to align financial planning with operational priorities and ensure financial objectives support business goals.Drive improvements in financial reporting processes, reporting efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and company policies.Mentor, review, and provide guidance to junior financial analysts and support staff to ensure professional development and accuracy in financial analyses.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (master’s degree or professional certifications such as CFA, CPA preferred).Advanced understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and corporate finance principles.Strong proficiency in financial analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).Excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and communication abilities.Ability to influence key decision-makers and collaborate effectively across teams.Minimum Experience5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or similar roles, preferably in a consumer-based company or startup environment.
