Accountable for the delivery of the installation projectAccountable for site safetyResponsible for securing efficient management of environmental aspects of the installation (waste handling, hazardous material, minimization of travel)Accountable for the financial result of the project (excluding costs associated with changes in factory prices or exchange rate variables)Participates in the sales/installation hand-over and validates the terms of the order received from the customer together with the salespersonPrepares the overall installation program and resource planningResponsible for planning and organizing the delivery and storage of materials and tools to site, and placing orders to subcontractors and non-KONE factory material suppliersResponsible for site preparations and follow-up of site readinessAccountable for use of correct KONE installation methods throughout the installationEnsures cost control as per action plans during budget, and pre-calculated CM2% towards achieving R80 targetsResponsible for administrative activities of the project, including daily human resource management (absences, time sheet review/approvals) and reporting project progress (schedule, installation hours, fitter time sheets, budget, and risks) to superiorsResponsible for maintaining project documentationUpdates information in company management systems (e.g., S-plan milestone updates)Collaborates with Accounts Payable/Controlling to ensure site activities are planned and executed in accordance with contractual payment terms and actual payments receivedAccountable for final testing of the equipment and handover to maintenanceCustomer and Sub-contractor Relationship ManagementAccountable for customer satisfaction and quality of installationAccountable for sub-contractor quality and safety performanceSingle point of contact towards the customer during installation regarding site management; responsible for internal and external communication during the projectAims at achieving allocated sales targets and add-on sales and variations during installationsDevelops and maintains a cordial and professional relationship with sub-contractorsPeople Management / LeadershipAccountable for people (site operatives) development and wellbeing, and managing the performance of the team and individualsDetermines objectives, plans, organizes, communicates, controls, and motivates the installation teamIdentifies field operative training needs and manages training plansRequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)3–5 years of experience in installation, construction, or site supervision (elevator/escalator industry experience preferred)Strong leadership and team management skillsSolid understanding of site safety, quality, and environmental management practicesFinancial acumen with experience in project budgeting and cost controlExcellent communication skills for customer and stakeholder managementAt KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
