We are currently looking for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP team in Cairo. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in delivering high-quality, coordinated mechanical designs across a wide range of complex building projects.RESPONSIBILITIESIn this role, your key responsibilities will include:• Leading the design and development of mechanical systems for buildings, including HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems.• Preparing and reviewing mechanical design drawings, load calculations, and technical documentation.• Managing and contributing to the preparation of complete tender packages, including BOQs, specifications, calculations, and drawings.• Coordinating with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to ensure seamless design integration.• Participating in and leading design reviews, applying revisions based on client and technical feedback.• Providing technical support during site supervision, ensuring compliance with design standards and resolving construction issues.• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering knowledge-sharing within the MEP team.• Contributing to the ongoing development of internal design standards, templates, and workflows.QUALIFICATIONSTo succeed in this role, you should have:• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.• 5–8 years of professional experience (2018-2021), with significant time spent in consultancy firms (not contractors).• Proven experience in delivering large-scale, multidisciplinary building projects.• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and firefighting/plumbing design software is highly desirable.• Strong knowledge of international mechanical standards and codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, etc.).• Excellent technical expertise in both design and site supervision.• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.• Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.We look forward to receiving your Resume at: careers@nb-consultancy.netAll applications will be handled with strict confidentiality.
